ALUMINUM PROFILE MACHINING CELL

An automated solution for an existing profile processing system previously operated manually by operators, now replaced with 3 robots.
To simplify the system and reduce space requirements, a specialized profile cart was developed. The robot can locate profiles on the cart even if they are placed inaccurately.
The cutting machine has been upgraded with custom-designed waste removal modules, enabling continuous operation.
An additional device was created for automatic spacer feeding, allowing the robot to place spacers between layers according to the selected program.
Custom robotic tools have been developed to support the required functions.
ROBOT A:
Facilitates the operation of the cutting machine. Locates profiles on the cart and transfers them between operations.
ROBOT B:
Performs processing of the first end of the profile.
ROBOT C:
Handles processing of the second end of the profile and stacks the finished products, inserting spacers between layers of the stack.
