An automated wooden slats packaging line was developed and installed for a Latvian customer in 2021, which assembles wooden slats into packages. The required size is manually set, blanks are inserted and finished parts are removed from the magazines, the rest of the work cycle takes place in automatic mode. The line is able to pack up to 30 slats per minute with a maximum weight of up to 30 kg with a minimum slat size: 1100x40x9 mm and a maximum: 4450x145x32 mm. The slats have three painted edges, and when the line packs them, they cut the first and last slats in the pack so that the unpainted edge is on the outside.
